You want to share information about your studies at the Academy?

We invite students of the Academy to submit ideas for digital contributions about your experiences around studying at the Academy in different digital formats for Kiosk. We look forward to your creative ideas for digital contributions to provide personal insights into everyday student life and to inform about studying from the students' perspective.

Target groups for content on Kiosk

The platform addresses in particular school students, young adults, and those career changers for whom access to knowledge about artistic professions and study opportunities is difficult due to their social and local conditions.

The following topics can be worked on

• Suggestions and experiences when applying to the Academy
• Experience at the beginning of your studies at the Academy, structure of my study program
• Insight into everyday study life, e.g. a week in the department, workshops, laboratories, nude drawing, etc.
• Interesting and special places at the Academy (e.g. KSG institute building, Kurzbauergasse)
• Study experiences from your own study program, the respective department or study focus (especially Conservation & Restoration, Education in the Arts)
• Insight into interdisciplinary projects and artistic work, group projects, events
• Social and psychological topics: Challenges, problems, support, etc.
• Individual educational pathways (example see kiosk/educational pathways)
• Additional content based on your own suggestions, experiences and ideas

Possible digital formats

• Blog post with image-slideshow
• Short video (max. 1:30min) incl. transcript of text for subtitles
• Podcast format (audio)
• etc.

All contributions should offer at least an alternative text in English or German.

Equipment for the production (camera, recorder, microphones, tripods, lighting etc.) can be borrowed if required.

Remuneration

The selected contributions will receive an expense allowance of between €200 and €500, depending on the estimated time required, and will be determined after the submissions have been selected.

Documents required for submission

• concept (max. 5 MB)
  • Project description (1 page A4 format)
  • Project-related work samples/sketches, including estimate of the time required in hours
• portfolio with previous artistic works (max. 5 MB max. 10 pages)
• curriculum vitae

The submission documents should be uploaded collectively as one Pdf document (max. 10 MB) via the Calls-platform.

The application, as well as the contributions can be in German or English.
