Cycling to the sculpture studios in the Prater

The project "Academy Album" consists of 52 short films. These were produced in 2017 to mark the 325th anniversary of the Academy by artist Amina Handke in collaboration with members of the Academy. The individual episodes deal with concepts from art, science and teaching, which are interpreted in different ways: Experimental, informative, absurd and/or documentary.
In this episode, student Esther shows the route from the main building on Schillerplatz to the sculpture studios in Kurzbauergasse by bike. The video was filmed with a camera attached to a helmet.
Amina Handke is an artist. She studied at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
