The Student Welcome Center

The Student Welcome Center is your point of contact for study-specific questions if you are a prospective student, first-semester student or international student.
The advice and information offered by the Student Welcome Center includes

  • Information about Study programs
  • Information on the admission process and  Requirements for Studying
  • Questions about Visa and Residence Laws
  • Matters for Students with Disabilities 

With the Student Welcome Center, you can arrange a personal consultation or a consultation via video conference for your individual questions.

In addition, the Student Welcome Center is responsible for organizing the orientation program for first-semester students. 

The Academy goes to school

The Coordination Office Academy Goes to School (short AgidS) at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna attempts to provide information about studying at the Academy at the lowest possible barrier and thus reach those who are currently underrepresented at the Academy.

The central concern of the office are activities that point out ways to study at the University of Fine Arts Vienna, as well as the creation of structures which make Studying Arts easier accessible. The long-term goal is to reduce educational inequality through forward-looking initiatives with a particular focus on the importance of intercultural education.

 The Austrian Students' Union at the Academy (ÖH)

The Austrian National Union of Students (ÖH) is the legally anchored representation of the students of the Academy of Fine Arts. A range of counseling services are presented on the website:
