The Application Process at the IKA - a Teacher Explains How it Works
Author: Sophia Rettl (UGC)
In this podcast, Luciano Parodi talks about the application process for the Bachelor's degree program at the Institute of Art and Architecture (IKA).
First of all it is important to note that everyone is welcome. The admissions process requires an evaluation of your documents by the admissions committee. The acceptance of applicants is based on a snapshot of the extent to which the portfolio meet the criteria. Sometimes expectations and your artistic practice will not match, so if you are not accepted, this does not mean that your work is being devalued. Unfortunately, there are only a limited number of places available and there are many applicants. Don't let it stop you from applying again next year or studying architecture at another university.
